Whistleblowing
FiberCop fosters an open corporate culture based on ethics, transparency, and responsibility, guided by our core values: trust, integrity, courage, passion, and inclusion.
For this reason, FiberCop provides internal channels to report information concerning its personnel and/or third parties regarding violations of laws and regulations, the Code of Ethics, the Organisational Model 231, as well as the company’s system of rules and procedures.
Thanks to the active and responsible participation of the corporate population and third parties, reporting any non-compliant behaviour enables the company to identify potential irregularities and promptly adopt necessary corrective measures, thus preventing possible economic or reputational damage.
These channels are not available for commercial complaints, reports of hazards, or the relocation of FiberCop’s cables and infrastructures, nor for disputes and requests related to personal interests or inquiries about the status of ongoing cases, billing issues, specific damages, and compensation requests, for which other dedicated channels are available.
Who can report?
Anyone with a legitimate interest in FiberCop’s activities can submit a report, including anonymously: employees, former employees and job applicants, shareholders, customers, partners, suppliers (including subcontractors), independent contractors or collaborators, freelancers, consultants, agents and intermediaries, volunteers, and interns (paid or unpaid).
Reports must be adequately detailed, containing sufficient information to verify the reported facts (e.g., details that allow identification of the individuals involved, the context, location, and timeframe of the reported facts, and supporting documentation).
Reports that fall outside the scope of FiberCop Group’s whistleblowing procedure will be deemed irrelevant and immediately closed.
What to report?
You can report violations of laws and regulations, our Code of Ethics, company procedures, as well as the system of rules and procedures in place within the company, including episodes of equal opportunity violations such as discrimination or abuse. Reports may concern both FiberCop personnel and third parties (suppliers and external collaborators).
Reports do not include commercial complaints, disputes, or requests related to personal interests, for which other dedicated channels are available.
It is essential for reports to be adequately detailed, with sufficient specificity to highlight precise, consistent, and context-related circumstances and facts, as well as to identify useful elements for verifying the validity of the report itself (e.g., details that allow identification of the individuals involved, the context, location, and timeframe of the reported facts, and supporting documentation).
How to report?
You can submit a report through:
-
The Whistleblowing Portal, which ensures the confidentiality of the whistleblower’s identity. Upon submission, the Portal provides a unique Identification Code that allows you to check the processing status and send and receive communications regarding the report anonymously.
-
The voicemail box at the Toll-Free Number 800.86.11.86.
-
Regular mail addressed to the FiberCop Supervisory Body, sent to the company’s registered office, or through a direct meeting with the Internal Audit personnel.
Anyone receiving a report, in any form (written or oral), must forward it promptly, and in any case within 5 days of receipt, to FiberCop’s Internal Audit Department using the aforementioned channels.
How reports are managed
Reports are handled in compliance with applicable laws and company procedures.
