Massimo Sarmi
President
Massimo Sarmi since November 2020 is President of FiberCop, a company controlled by TIM and created to innovate the network infrastructure and to ensure the acceleration of the digitalization process in Italy.
A business executive with significant professional experience, he boasts a curriculum full of top positions and results that have contributed to the development of the country.
Until April 2015 he was Chairman of Banca del Mezzogiorno as well as, until April 2016 Managing Director of the freeway concessionaire Milano Serravalle- Milano Tangenziali and Chairman of the freeway concessionaire Autostrada Pedemontana Lombarda S.p.A.
In 2013, he was appointed by Confindustria as delegate for the diffusion of advanced digital services.
From 2002 to 2014, he was Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of the Poste Italiane Group. At the helm of the Group, Sarmi has developed a strategy of strengthening the network of post offices, technological innovation, expansion of the range of services and entry into new business sectors, achieving significant financial results, with budgets with increasing profits. In 2010 he is also appointed President of the Global Cyber Security Center Foundation, an international organization for study and research for the security of digital communications established in Rome on the initiative of Poste Italiane.
In 2000 he was appointed Managing Director and General Manager of Siemens Italia.
In 1998, he was appointed General Manager of Telecom Italia.
In 1995 he was the first General Manager of TIM (Telecom Italia Mobile), the company born from the spin-off of the mobile radio division from Telecom Italia where Sarmi worked since 1986 covering roles of increasing complexity contributing to the development of innovative mobile and fixed telephony services.
He began his career as an officer in the Italian Air Force and then worked as an engineer. Sarmi’s commitments are numerous, including as a lecturer at La Sapienza University and LUISS University in Rome.
He has also been awarded the honours of “Cavaliere del Lavoro”, “Cavaliere della Gran Croce della Repubblica Italiana”, “Commendatore dell’Ordine di San Gregorio Magno”, “Grande Ufficiale dello SMOM” and “Commendatore dell’Ordine del Santo Sepolcro”.

Carlo Filangieri
CEO
Carlo Filangieri, an electronic engineer, has assumed the position of CEO of FiberCop in March 2021.
After starting his career in the engineering company STS, he gained a long and consolidated experience in the ICT sector in Italy and abroad.
From 2020 until March 2021 he led the Wholesale business area of TIM that supports in its business more than 400 operators on the Italian market selling services for about 1.9 billion euros.
In previous years he held top positions in the development and management of large infrastructures, including the responsibility of Open Access, a structure of 18,000 resources dedicated to the access network of TIM, where he gave a strong impetus to improving service levels, increasing productivity and extending fiber coverage of the country.
In the three-year period 2012-2014, as Chief Technical Officer of TIM Brasil, he launched the 4G mobile radio coverage of the South American country through one of the main Active Sharing projects in the world; he also developed the TIM Live fiber service in the main cities of Brazil.
From 2008 to 2011, within Shared Service Center, a company focused on IT services and Data Center management, he was responsible for the development of software and IT infrastructure, launching with his team the first Cloud Computing and Virtual Desktop projects in Italy.
He followed several M&A projects, including the spin-off of telecommunication towers in Brazil and the establishment of Flash Fiber, a joint venture between TIM and Fastweb, created for the development of fiber optics in the 29 main Italian cities, now merged into Fibercop.
He was a director of TIM Brasil from March 2020 to March 2021, of Flash Fiber from 2016 to March 2021 and of TN Fiber in 2011-2012.

Daniela Casale
Responsible for the HR & General Services Function
Daniela Casale has been Head of the HR & General Services Function since January 2023.
Born in Cassino in 1972 and graduated in Communication Sciences, after her first working activities abroad she joined, in 1995, the Alitalia Group where she held roles in both Line and Staff functions. In 2007 she began her professional experience in Human Resources with levels of increasing responsibility until she became Head of HRBP Corporate & Commercial.
Since March 2021 she became Head of Human Resources in Noovle S.p.A., a key position in the growth and evolution process of the company, where human capital is a key lever for the challenge of digital transformation. She lives in Rome and loves the outdoors, music and good readings.

Antonella Collevecchio
Responsible for the End to End Management
Antonella Collevecchio, graduated in economics and commerce, is responsible for the End to End Management of Fibercop and ensures the monitoring, the performance analysis of the processes of service delivery offered to the Operators and the related improvement plans, ensuring the interlocution with internal and external stakeholders.
Since February 2017 she has been responsible for the End to End Management function of Flash Fiber.
From 2007 to 2016 she was Head of Operators Relations and Wholesale Services in Fastweb S.p.a.
From 2003 to 2006 she was Project Manager in Ernst & Young S.p.a., a worldwide network of professional management consulting services, where she was responsible for managing consulting projects on models, systems, processes and governance in the Regulatory Affairs area.
From 2000 to 2002 she has participated in the start-up of Atlanet S.p.a., born from the Joint Venture between Acea S.P.A. and Telefonica of Spain, covering also the role of Manager of Business Development.
In the previous years she carried out activities of planning and control, industrial accounting and reporting, strategic planning, computer programming of statistical and econometric models for Telecom Italia S.p.A. and Finsiel S.p.A.

Paolo Di Bartolomei
Responsible for the Institutional & External Communication Department
Paolo Di Bartolomei, 58 years old, is responsible for the Institutional & External Communication Department in FiberCop Spa
He graduated in Political Science at the LUISS University of Rome; he went on to achieve a specialisation diploma in Sciences and Legislation Techniques and an “Executive” diploma in “Infrastructure in a Market Economy”.
He has worked in the Telecom Italia Group since 1988 when he started his career in SIP (Società Italiana per l’esercizio telefonico) SpA, in the Institutional Relations Office.
During the course of his professional career, he has covered positions of growing responsibility in various company sectors, like External Relations, Strategic Planning and Public Affairs, developing the strategies of national regulation for the mobile sector, following the procedures regarding tenders for assigning funds for reducing the digital divide, implementing the digital Agenda and the Urban Agenda, also through the analysis and the activation of the relevant public funds for specific strategic projects and obligations deriving from the “golden power” norms.
Since January 2020 he has also covered the role of Director General of COTEC – Foundation for Innovation, that, under the auspices of the President of the Italian Republic promotes the innovation culture in Italy through studies, research and debates in various fields of innovation to sustain the formulation of new policies for Italian technological and scientific competitiveness.
He has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Ugo Bordoni Foundation (FUB), of the Elettra 2000 Foundation, of the Foundation for Technological Innovation COTEC, of the Board of ETNO – European Association of National Telecommunications Operators and ProboViro of ASSTEL-Assotelecomunicazioni (Telecommunications Operators employers association).
He is married and has two daughters.

Vanda Di Foggia
Marketing and Sales Director
Vanda Di Foggia has held the position of Marketing and Sales Director of FiberCop since April 2021 with the responsibility of developing and managing the portfolio of services aimed at the wholesale market and defining marketing strategies.
She is Board Member of TI Trust Technologies.
She has gained over twenty years of experience in the telecommunications market, covering roles in various business sectors, starting from research and development, project management and strategic management in the technical area, up to assuming growing responsibilities in the Marketing and Sales area.
Graduated in Electronic Engineering at the University of Rome “La Sapienza”, after the State Exam and a research and experimentation activity at the telecommunications company MCS Europe (Telespazio), she began her professional career in TIM in 1999, in the Network division, with responsibilities related to the design of second and third generation mobile radio networks. She also participated in international standardization groups. She then continued her technical experience in the start-up of the fourth Italian mobile radio operator BLU.
In 2001 she joined Telecom Italia, contributing to the birth of the Wholesale Department and gained great experience in the reference market through the management of both new service design and engineering and marketing and sales activities.
She first assumed the role of Marketing Director of the “Marketing of Non-Regulated Services” sector, which includes, among other things, the responsibility of the commercial relationship for the purchase and sale of satellite traffic services with international operators in the wholesale market abroad and the definition of related contracts. She was nominated head of “Connectivity and IP Services” sector adding to the previous responsibility also the development of the regulated offer for interconnection services. Finally, in 2018, she became Sales Director of the “Commercial Area Centro Sud”.

Francesco Di Perna
Chief Technology Officer
Francesco Di Perna, electronic engineer, is the Chief Technology Officer of FiberCop and ensures the planning, implementation, delivery and maintenance of the network, as well as the information technology activities of the Company.
Since 2018 he has held the role of Chief Technology Officer of Flash Fiber with similar responsibilities and before that in TIM, within the access network management, he was responsible for the delivery process, the management of national operations and the oversight of services and complex projects for retail and wholesale customers.
From 2012 to 2015 he worked in the territory and was responsible for creation, maintenance, delivery and assurance on the access network, managing about 5000 on field technicians. From 2008 to 2012 he was in charge of technical assistance for retail and wholesale customers, through front-end, back-office and specialized support activities carried out by about 3000 on line technicians.
In the previous years he worked in Customer Operation and participated in several start-ups, first as Head of Customer Care of Tin.it, Virgilio, Matrix and La7CartaPiù. He also worked for Telecom Italia as Customer Service and Sales Manager in the Branch offices of several Italian provinces.

Gabriele Mandurino
Chief Financial Officer
From April 2021 Gabriele Mandurino acts as Chief Financial Officer of Fibercop.
He has over 20 years of experience in telecommunications and network infrastructure in an international environment, with a vision always focused on the creation of shareholder value and strategic decision making.
Prior to joining Fibercop, Gabriele contributed to the creation and development of Covage, a company owned by infrastructure funds, leader of independent operators in France in the construction, management and marketing of fiber access networks.
Previously, he held various roles in Corporate Finance, M&A/Strategy and Planning&Control; in particular, from 2008 to 2011, he was Director Planning & Control and Director Corporate Finance in Hansenet (a German-based company initially owned by Telecom Italia and later by Telefonica). From 2004, for about 4 years, he worked in Telecom Italia France as Director Planning & Control. From 2002 to 2004 he worked in Tiscali as Corporate Controller.

Mario Valducci
Responsible for the Regulatory Office Department
Mario is responsible for the Regulatory Office Department in FiberCop Spa
Born in Milan on 23 March 1959, he graduated from the Luigi Bocconi University in Business Economics, at the same University he qualiified as a Practising Accountant.
He started his career in Price Waterhouse and after four years he went to the Fininvest Group collaborating with Programma Italia (now Mediolanum) and then with the Standa Group.
He was a member of Parliament of the Italian Republic from 1994 to 2013 covering the role of Undersecretary of State for Productive Activities (now Ministry of Economic Development) and for five years Chair of the Transport and Telecommunications Commission of the Chamber of Deputies.
From 2013 he was Director of the newly formed Transport Regulation Authority for seven years.
In his activity he has been involved in many sectors including that of Insurance, Trade, Energy, Telecommunications, Infrastructure and Transport.

Giovanni Venditti
General Counsel and Head of the Authority Regulatory Compliance Office
Giovanni Venditti, lawyer, is the General Counsel as well as the head of the Authority Regulatory Compliance Office of FiberCop S.p.A. and ensures the legal protection of the Company, compliance and management of relations with the relevant Authorities and Bodies, monitoring the compliance of business processes with the regulatory framework.
Previously, he held various roles with increasing responsibility in the Telecom Italia Group.
From 2019 until April 2021 he was responsible for “Legal Wholesale and Technology” of TIM.
From 2017 to 2019 he held the role of Head of “Legal & Regulatory Wholesale Infrastructures Network & Systems” of TIM.
Previously he was responsible for Litigation (civil, criminal, administrative) of Telecom Italia Group.
In the last years he has followed, from a legal point of view, strategic agreements such as those related to Inwit/Vodafone/TIM, Google/TIM and finally the Fibercop project.
He has managed national and international arbitrations of significant complexity.
He has been member of the board of directors of national companies of the Group (Flash Fiber) and member of the board of international companies (Mediterranean Nautilus) as well as secretary of the board of some subsidiaries of Telecom Italia.
